It all started when we became the lucky caregivers to our wonderful little friend,"Lucky." It has been a real challenge for us, in that we knew zero about how to rehabilitate an orphaned squirrel, in fact, in our ignorance we almost killed her due to the abundance of bogus information that is rampant throughout the Internet. If it were not for the fact that I stumbled across some accurate information about squirrel nutrition, Lucky would either be dead or in a miserable shape.
I am a Registered Nurse by profession and work in the Emergency Room part-time at our local hospital. I was able to recognize that my squirrel, Lucky, was not doing well on her diet and somehow managed to prevent her from going into full-blown seizures. I'm just so thankful to have found information that really worked!
