Not All Foods Are Good For Squirrels!

Many products are advertised as being "safe" for Squirrels, yet when you read the list of ingredients you find that they contain animal protein. Squirrels are classified as Herbivores, which means their diet should contain only vegetables. Most products considered safe for squirrels, are designed for omnivores, ( animals that eat vegetables and animal protein.)
Products that contain animal protein can also contain the hormones that are fed to meat animals to fatten them up!

Squirrel Biscuits were designed for squirrels. Squirrel biscuits contain a mixture of vegetables, baby rice cereal, ground walnuts, Brewer's yeast, Lecithin, Dolomite Calcium, Alfalfa tablets, salt and Organic Raw Coconut Oil.

My Squirrels Love Them!

Squirrel Biscuits are easy to make, and squirrels absolutely love them. Every one of my release squirrels that are wintering over with me went wild over the Squirrel Biscuits when we offered them. I took some out to my released and wild squirrels in my backyard, and the verdict was unanimous!

Mail from a satisfied customer:

Bill,

I made up the squirrel bisquits today and gave one to Squiggly (my red squirrels name). He went right at it!
I haven't seen a seizure in a few days. He's been getting 3 nut squares a day.  Did I tell you about the outside squirrels? The squirrel rehabber about 2 hours from me needed more places to release red squirrels so she released 4 on our land. We have 80 acres. 2 are living close by and come daily to the bird feeders. We made them their own feeders where the birds can't get their food. I've been giving them a nut ball or two. They were just released this past fall so this is their first winter and it's a rough one.

Thanks again for your wonderful nutrition packets!!  And advice!!!

Cheryl

Squirrel Biscuits Give Variety

Squirrel Biscuits answers the question of what should I feed to squirrels. It's difficult to offer a variety of vegetables to squirrels, especially when they have been conditioned to eating peanuts and field corn. Putting just vegetables on a squirrel feeder is like throwing them in the trash. Squirrels will eat them if they are starving, but if they are getting "junk food" from the neighbors, they're not going to touch them!

Squirrel Biscuits Makes Feeding Time Really Easy!

Squirrel Biscuits make feeding time easy and economical! Feeding a Tablespoon size portion of Squirrel Biscuits is a meal for a squirrel. Whenever my backyard squirrels come around looking for food, I simply go out and make sure that each squirrel gets a Squirrel Biscuit! No more food fights, everyone gets their portion morning and evening.

Squirrel Biscuits Insure Good Nutrition!

Squirrel Biscuits insure that your Squirrels gets some Calcium that is so vital to squirrel bone health. This is especially important in the winter when sources of calcium are hard to find. It also protects their health due to the addition of Organic Raw Coconut Oil. We put Organic Raw Coconut Oil in all our Squirrel Biscuit mixes.

Squirrel Biscuits Keep Your Squirrels Healthy!

Organic Raw Coconut Oil contains a large amount of a substance called Lauric Acid. Lauric acid is a medium chain fatty acid that does some amazing things. When ingested, the liver converts Lauric Acid to a substance called Monolaurin. Monolaurin is found in trace amounts in breast milk and is believed to give babies immunity to bacteria and viruses. According to a report in PubMed.gov, Monolaurin, ( aka  glycerol monolaurate,) stimulates the production of T-cells in the immune system. T-cells attack and kill invading organisms. In other words, it boosts the immune system. The report also indicated that monolaurin also attacks and destroys organisms such as Staph and Streptoccus and many toxins by isolating and destroying their cell wall. Bottom line is, ingesting Organic Raw Coconut Oil keeps squirrels healthy and boosts their immune system!

My wife and I have used Organic Raw Coconut Oil for the last 3 years for all our cooking and baking needs. In that time we have not had a "stay at home" illness, and none of our squirrels have had to make a trip to the Vet for an infection or illness.
